This most recent version incorporates VAST improvements over any previous phpBB forum software. Years went into this complete redesign. The two top pieces of forum software are phpBB and vBulletin. You very well may have already posted on both phpBB and vBulletin. Both now use what are called BB tags to make such things as bolding, links, images, quotes, etc. BB tags are the ones that appear between square brackets like this [ ].
